Cremona Mondomusica will present a specialized workshop on jazz techniques with lessons by Paolo Damiani, director of Jazz Department of Conservatorio S. Cecilia in Rome.
Three days of jazz which will end with a final jam session open to the public and involving all participants.
The workhop is in collaboration with the Ministry of Education – Directorate on Higher Education in Arts and Music.
The workshop is free and open to voice, strings, piano, winds and percussions.

2nd International Seminar on Liturgical Music
The organ in the liturgy and in the instrument making tradition

Organized by: Scuola Diocesana di Musica Sacra and Cremonafiere with the patronage of CEI (Italian Episcopal Conference) Liturgical Office. In collaboration with AIO (Italian Association of Organbuilders).
The seminar, of international importance, is focused on the relationship between organ, composition and liturgy.
New trends and tradition will be discussed in a debate open the different point of view.
The aim of the meeting is to highlight the presence of important driving forces, coming from the religious world, aimed at promoting the active participation and professional activity of musicians specialized in liturgical music.
Also the organbuilders will bring their contribution: the international leading operators during the second session illustrate the important relationship between technical aspects, technology and liturgical context.
The seminary will involve, organists, choir and chapel directors, cultural associations, diocesan directors of liturgical music, musicians and Conservatoire teachers.
