At the beginning of the wild Twenties there was the “Cotton Club” of New York, the first jazz club in the history of music. At Mondomusica 2010, during the performances of junior jazz bands coming from Italian Conservatories and Jazz Schools, you will experience the old-time atmoshere of New York nights, the jazz club atmosphere.

The international audience of Mondomusica will have the opportunity to hear the “right” sound, rhythmically enthralling and combined with special grooves and interesting swings. You will experience sounds and rhythms of distant cultures through the sound of jazz. It will create a very evocative language accompanying visitors on a fascinating journey populated by emotions.The performances of young jazz bands have always been among the most eagerly awaited events of Mondomusica. The 2010 performances will be particularly interesting because made by young jazz bands, a music segment ready to be discovered. The concerts will take place throughout the three days of the exhibition creating the typical music festival atmosphere of Mondomusica.
