THE REFERENCE SHOW FOR THE ITALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL DAIRY AND CHEESE-MAKING INDUSTRY

The International Dairy Cattle Show is among the first three exhibitions worldwide for the dairy and cheese-making industry. The display of innovative equipment, technologies and services and a programme of conferences and seminars providing the most up-to-date market information and technical and scientifical upgrading are the reasons of its success .
The Show is a fundamental working tool for dairy professionals and is experiencing a constant growth in the number of visitors and exhibitors, especially those coming from abroad.  

WHY IN CREMONA

Cremona is in the centre of the major dairy and cheese making area in Italy.  The Padana Plain produces about 40% of the total national milk supply and  the milk is excellent, not only in terms of quality but also of hygiene and safety controls. For these reasons, Cremona provides the perfect setting for the most important  Show worldwide in dairy zootechnics.
The experience and know-how of companies and research centers along with the aim of remaining competitive have turned Cremona and the International Dairy Cattle Show into powerful engines for the economic growth.  

AN INTERESTING CALENDAR OF EVENTS

The programme of conferences and seminars is one of the strengths of the Show and every year it draws the attention of breeders, veterinaries, feed producers, researchers and professionals of the processing industry.  
The most important and up-to-date subjects of the dairy field will be discussed with professionalism and expertise during 25 conferences and technical seminars which will offer an overview of the sector by highlighting problems and opportunities of modern zootechnics.

 All-European Championship Holstein and Red Holstein

 

The 2010 International Dairy Cattle Show will host the most important international livestock competition: the All-European Championship Holstein and Red Holstein, organized in cooperation with the European Holstein and Red Holstein Confederation, ANAFI and "Associazione Provinciale Allevatori di Cremona".
The event is an important proof of the exellent level achieved by European genetic research, since 18 countries will show their best head of cattle.

Italpig - Italian Pig Breeding Show 

 

Italpig is the most qualified reference exhibition to discover the latest news of the sector thanks to the presence of the best providers of services, equipment and technologies and to a programme of conferences and seminars focused on the major topics of the field.
During the Italpig Award will compete over 100 animals coming from the best Italian breeding centres.
