Mondomusica confirms itself as the most important international marketplace for handcrafted musical instruments.
Cremona – The data of the last editions of Mondomusica show that the exhibition is the nr.1 in the world for handcrafted musical instruments, and this year, for the first time, the number of foreign exhibitors is larger than Italian’s. This proves that Mondomusica is the most internationalized exhibition in Italy.
Today, 2 months before the beginning of the exhibition (Cremona, 1-3 October 2010), there are 22 foreign countries registered; the most represented is Germany with 28 exhibitors, followed by France with 18 firms.
All European countries, with their great tradition in the sector, will be in Cremona (Germany, France, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, the UK, Slovakia, Slovenia, Swiss, Poland, the Netherlands and Romania), and also a big representative from the Far East (China, Japan and Taiwan).
The USA, India and Israel will not miss Mondomusica too, but the big novelty of this year is the participation of Finland, which will be there for the very first time with Marko Pennanen, one of the winners of the last edition of the famous Triennale Competition for stringed instruments.
Between the foreign exhibitors of Mondomusica, more than the 12% are new exhibitors: this shows that the hard promotion of the exhibition on the most important international markets is bringing very good results.
According to these data, Mondomusica 2010 is supposed to reach a new record of visitors, especially from abroad.
Waiting for the beginning of the exhibition, it is possible to taste the rich program of the exhibition at the website www.cremonamondomusica.it [3]
