The All European Holstein and Red Holstein Championship (over 160 cows coming from 16 European Countries) is attracting the most important genetics firms all around the world.
The appointment is scheduled for October 28th-31st.
Cremona – When we drink milk, we often don’t consider all the work that lays behind its production. A great work that begins with the selection of the cows with the best specifications to produce a lot of high quality milk.
That’s why the companies working in this sector are so important for the entire milk food chain. As a matter of fact, farmers are always looking for “champion” cows to start descents that could guarantee an excellent milk production.
The best way to see and touch the great level reached by the European research on cow genetics will be the next All European Holstein and Red Holstein Championship, the most important international zootechnical show that this year will be host by the International Dairy Cattle Show (Cremona Fairgrounds, October 2010 from 28th to 31st). It will be a wonderful event with the participation of 16 European Countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Luxemburg, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Swiss and the UK.
All these Countries will bring cows coming from their best breeding centers: a great show that will point out the best of European zootechnics.
For this reason, the most important international genetics companies are coming to Cremona; there will be firms coming from all over the world: USA, Canada, UK, Netherlands, Germany, France, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and also from Lebanon, because they know that at the International Dairy Cattle Show they could meet over 68,000 professional visitors (47% are breeders) interested in finding out the best cows and lineage for their farms.
