CremonaFiere is currently on a business mission at the Agritex, the main international show for the agro-livestock sector in India. A delegation consisting of CremonaFiere General Manager Massimo De Bellis, Fabio Abeni from CREA Research Centre and Riccardo Negrini from the Catholic University reached Hyderabad to present the Italian agro-livestock model to the economic players of one of the most interesting market for milk production and processing.
The relationship to India started last year with a first business mission to the Agritex Show. Nowadays the relationship grows stronger thus further opening an important business channel for all the companies eager to expand their business abroad and particularly interested in the Italian production model that is synonim of high quality. The value of Indian dairy sector has been estimated to about 70 billion USD in 2014 – 2015. According to a study by the Rabobank, the Indian market of dairy products is expected to grow from 21% to 31% in the period between 2012 and 2020.
This business mission is strictly connected to the upcoming edition of Cremona International Livestock Exhibitions that will take place from October 24th to 27th at Cremona Exhibition Center gathering the whole agro-livestock world with the presentation of the latest market innovations by the major brands of the sector, workshops, meetings, demonstrations, the new Agrinnovation Summit for innovation technologies and start-ups for the agro-livestock sector and Watec Italy, international Exhibition for water management.
An Indian delegation will also attend the new edition of Cremona International Livestock Exhibitions.
