A Delegation from the Flemish Parliament visited CremonaFiere: a meeting with the stakeholders of the territory to talk about agro-livestock

CremonaFiere, chosen for its representativeness and identified as the beating heart of the sector, is a stage of the delegation’s five-day itinerary through Lombardy.

A Delegation from the Flemish Parliament, the Committee for Agriculture, Fishery and Rural Development Policy, headed by vice president Bart Dochy, visited yesterday CremonaFiere to meet the stakeholders representatives of the territory and discuss the agenda with institutions and associations of the agro-livestock sector.
The five-day itinerary through the region Lombardy will lead the Flemish Delegation to meet the major players of the agro-livestock sector. CremonaFiere, headquarter of the major international agro-livestock Exhibition in Italy, that is Cremona International Livestock Exhibitions, represented an appointment especially dedicated to livestock farming.
The Delegation was welcomed by Corrado Boni, vice-president of CremonaFiere, Riccardo Crotti, council member of CremonaFiere, Roberto Biloni, vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce of Cremona and the representatives of Crea – Research Center for Agriculture and Agricultural Economics Analysis and of other agro-livestock associations and institutions.
During the meeting with the Committee, following topics were discussed: development of agro-livestock farms in Lombardy, management of environmentally-friendly farming practices, animal welfare and development of youth entrepreneurship projects in agro-livestock farming.
The attention addressed by the Delegation to CremonaFiere confirms the important role played by CremonaFiere as reference point for the agro-livestock sector both in Italy and abroad, and strengthens its international scope. As a matter of fact, Cremonafiere has always been committed to the development of an extensive network of contacts with international companies and institutions as fundamental step of its specialization and internationalization path.
